Class Action Lawsuit Rights May Be Revoked

The U.S. Senate will be voting on S. 1751, a measure that would revoke class action lawsuit rules in every state by sending the class action lawsuit cases to federal court. It is more difficult for class action lawsuit cases to be approved for consideration in federal courts, a measure supported by large corporations and industries. Federal judges are also more conservative when interpreting the law and the crowded court dockets could delay things for months and even years. All consumers and workers have legal rights and S. 1751, should it pass, would take away the right for a class action lawsuit.
